Based in New York, Imogen Valentine was born and raised in London to a Puerto Rican mother and American father, Imogen's story began when she started taking singing lessons and partaking in school musicals as a child. But it was a Sam Smith concert at the age of 15 that pushed her to start recording music and going to recording studios throughout high school. With inspiration from artists like Lana Del Rey, Mac Miller, and Lorde, Imogen Valentine creates the perfect blend of power pop and dream pop music. She hopes to create a loving and supportive community through her music and artistry throughout the years.
