Wendy Starland - Dancing with the Sea

Out of thousands of entries, Wendy won “VH1’s Best Emerging Artist” in a contest sponsored by VH1, Daisy Rock Guitars, Bacardi and Step Up Women’s Network.  Her song “Garden of Temptation” is featured in the promo for 2 NBC hit series’ Las Vegas, starring James Caan and Molly Simms. NBC snatched up one of Wendy’s songs again for their new primetime series Hawaii, as well as promoting her with a listening station on their website. The song was used twice on ABC’s signature show, Regis &Kelly. It will also be heard in the upcoming movie Snatch, starring Forrest Whitaker. Her songs Stolen Love and Dancing with The Sea are both having major releases: one in a major motion picture and licensed to MTV - and the other on a compilation for Universal Music alongside Norah Jones, Edie Brickell and Katie Melua, which she wrote and produced. Her songs are playing on over 40 radio stations in the US, and on several more major radio stations in Europe. The video for her single, “Dancing With The Sea” (currently #8 on the “Best Sellers Chart”) is airing on MTV. She has performed before thousands of people at Roseland Ballroom. After flying into New York from London for her live showcase, multi-Grammy winning producer (Sting, Paul McCartney and Peter Gabriel), Hugh Padgham, calls Wendy’s music simply “Great!”
