SHOF Inductee Jimmy Webb Holds Ultimate Master Class!

There was nothing less than magic at the Cutting Room in NY on June 5th.

Legendary songwriter Jimmy Webb held court in front of a packed house, entertaining with colorful anecdotes and stories mixed with facts and information. Everyone took away something, and there was an atmosphere of intense admiration being in the presence of a great craftsman.

Earlier in the evening, awards were given to the 2007 Abe Olman Scholarship recipients and participating writers on the Best of the Songwriters Hall of Fame New Writers Showcase CD: Volume 5.

It was a stellar way to start a Songwriters Hall of Fame Week packed with special moments, leading up to the main event; the Thursday, June 7th Annual Awards Show. Stay tuned to songhall.org for video clips to get a taste of all of these great experiences!
