Meeting New Writing Partners / Making New Friends

Songs written solo are a wonderful thing - no doubt! They are a unique vision coming from a single muse!

Writing a song with one or more people is different. It might take sometime to find your way in this process as a new writer. You must allow for your partners to equally voice their ideas and contribute. Once you are able to put the egos aside - some incredible things can happen in the writing process. The song can reach a level that you would never have brought it to yourself.

Some of my closest friends I met first as co-writers. As these relationships grow over time - the trust builds in the writing process - and it is almost as if one person finishes the others melody/lyric line and it just flows. A beautiful thing! AND IT’S ALWAYS GOOD TO HAVE COMPANY FOR LUNCH AND DINNER!!!

Here’s a place for people to talk about the co-writing process and hook up! Good luck!
